Can I revoke my purchase?

Yes, if you are buying as a consumer, you can revoke your purchase in certain cases. The rules below apply to Belgian consumers.

When is this possible?

You have the right of withdrawal if the seller is a business entity selling goods in the course of their professional activity.
This is not possible in the case of judicial sales (such as bankruptcy sales).

How much time do I have?

You have 14 days from receipt of your purchase to revoke.

How do I revoke my purchase?

Notify the seller that you wish to revoke by means of a statement, preferably in writing.

What should I do next?

After your notification, return the product within 14 days or deliver it by appointment. Ensure that it is in the same condition, preferably in the original packaging. 

Who pays the return costs?

The return costs are at your expense.

When will I receive my money back?

You will receive your money back via bank transfer within 48 hours of receipt and inspection of the product.

When can a return be refused?

If the product is used, damaged, or no longer in the same condition, Vavato may claim compensation for the depreciation the item has undergone. In the event of abuse of the right of withdrawal, Troostwijk-Vavato has the right to recover the actual costs incurred from the consumer.
