There are two ways to bid.
-
'Static': This means you place the next bid or manually enter a specific amount as your bid. It's a one-time action. If someone places a higher bid, you need to manually bid again in the same way.
-
'Auto bid': Here, you set a maximum amount, and whenever someone bids more than you, our auction system automatically places your next bid. This continues until you have the highest bid and the auction for that lot closes or until the maximum amount you specified is reached.
You can cancel an 'Auto bid' yourself by placing a static bid one bidding increment higher than the current bid.
If someone else places a static bid equal to the maximum of your previously placed automatic bid, your automatic bid takes precedence over their static bid.
