In every auction, you will find essential information about collecting your lots under the "auction information" option. When an auction has a fixed pickup time-slot, it is usually mentioned on the second page of your invoice.
There are two collection options:
Pick-up via Collection Schedule:
An organized collection day where you are welcome to pick up your lot(s) within a specific time frame, as indicated in the collection schedule.
You will receive the collection schedule 24-48 hours after the auction has closed and you have won your lot(s). It will be shared with you via email.
The delivery schedule is also made available in the lot description, this may also take 24 to 48 hours after the auction closes.
The collection schedule categorizes all buyers into different dates/time slots. 7-digit buyer numbers are used for categorization to protect privacy. You can find this number on your account or invoice, enabling you to determine your time slot. Tip: Use ctrl + f to quickly locate your buyer number.
Please note: It is not possible to come on a different day, even if it is listed on the retrieval schedule. If you cannot attend the collection day, we recommend engaging a transporter.
Collection by Appointment:
In some cases, you can collect the lots by appointment. After payment for the lot, you will receive appointment details via email.
Requirements:
Always bring the paid invoice and any other required documents, such as your ID if you wish to register a vehicle.
Loading and Transport:
As a buyer, you are responsible for loading and transporting your lot(s), unless explicitly offered otherwise by Troostwijk or the seller (e.g., in a delivery auction). A forklift is often available on-site at your own risk, as indicated in the auction and lot details.
If you cannot be present on the collection day, you can enlist a transporter to pick up the lot(s) on your behalf. This courier will need the paid invoice. More information can be found here.
