For purchases in Dutch auctions of lots that are exported to countries outside the EU we can only process a VAT refund request when you send us an official EX-A document. You can contact the customs in your country to arrange an EX-A document. You need to fill in an EX-A document per auction and send it back to us, together with the original invoice to which your request relates, within three months after closing.
Troostwijk Auctions offers this as a service to customers. Normally you would have to apply for a temporary VAT number with our tax authorities and reclaim the VAT in your own name.
