For each auction, you will find essential information about picking up your lots on the lot page 'Pickup'. The pickup information is also always stated on the last page of your invoice. Below you can read more about the different pickup options used in the auctions.
- Pickup on a fixed pickup day:
When picking up on a fixed pickup day, the time(s) when you are welcome to collect your lot(s) is already indicated on the lot page before the auction closes. The day, time, and location for pickup are also (again) stated on the last page of your invoice.
It is not possible to pick up your lot(s) outside the fixed pickup day. Can you not be present? Then we recommend you hire a carrier.
- Pickup according to a delivery schedule:
In some auctions, buyers are divided according to a delivery schedule over different dates and time slots. You can only pick up your lot(s) during the time slot assigned to you. You will receive the delivery schedule no later than 48 hours after the auction closes (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays recognized in the Netherlands). The delivery schedule is sent by email and posted on the lot page.
The schedule is based on your seven-digit buyer number (Account ID). You can find this number on your invoice and on our website under Account > Overview. Look up your buyer number in the delivery schedule to see on which date and within which time slot you can pick up your lot(s).
Note: The delivery schedule is therefore not organized by your auction number or lot number, but by your buyer number. Tip: Use ctrl + f to quickly find your buyer number in the delivery schedule.
It is not possible to come during a different time slot than the one assigned to you. Can you not be present? Then we recommend you hire a carrier.
- Pickup by appointment:
In some cases, you can pick up your lot(s) by appointment. After you have paid for the lot(s), you will find an email address on the last page of your invoice. Contact this email address to make an appointment.
Requirements:
Always bring the paid invoice and a valid ID when picking up.
Loading and transport:
As a buyer, you are responsible for loading and transporting your lot(s), unless explicitly offered otherwise by Troostwijk or the seller (for example, in a delivery auction). A forklift is often available on location at your own risk, as indicated in the auction and lot details.
If you cannot be present on the pickup day, you can hire a carrier to collect the lot(s) on your behalf. This courier will need the paid invoice. More information can be found here.
