For each auction, there is a predetermined pickup day according to the auction terms and conditions. This can be found on the auction page and the last page of your invoice. On this pickup day, we expect you to collect the goods.
If it is not possible to come on this day, there is often the option to have the purchased lots delivered. Below you will find a selection of carriers experienced in picking up and delivering various types of lots. The possibility of delivery depends on the country where the auction takes place.
Note: Troostwijk Auctions does not offer transport services itself. Every transport agreement is made directly between you and the carrier.
Important points to consider when using a carrier:
- Once your chosen carrier picks up the lot(s), the risk of damage, loss, or delay lies entirely with the carrier and/or you as the buyer. Troostwijk Auctions assumes no responsibility in this regard.
- The seller is not responsible for (carefully) packing the lot(s); discuss this clearly with the carrier before transport begins.
- Inform the carrier about any special details to avoid surprises.
- On the selected carrier’s website, you will usually find more information about services, insurance, and transport conditions.
- The use of courier services such as DHL, DPD, or UPS is discouraged because they often require products to be sealed and labeled, which is rarely possible at auctions. Troostwijk Auctions does not have packaging materials on site.
